On November 28-29, 2024, the International Geoforum on the theme "UNESCO: Geoparks for Sustainable Development and Cooperation" was held in Almaty. The third day of the geoforum continued at the "Tanbaly" State Historical, Cultural, and Natural Museum-Reserve. One of UNESCO's priority areas is the creation of global geoparks. This initiative has been discussed and implemented for several years. Today, geoparks are recognized as a new trend in sustainable development and nature conservation.
