Monitoring of Petroglyphs and the Archaeological Landscape of the Tanbaly Museum-Reserve

The State Historical, Cultural and Natural Museum-Reserve “Tanbaly” conducts regular comprehensive monitoring of the petroglyphs and the surrounding archaeological landscapes within its territory.

Currently, quarterly monitoring activities are being carried out across the museum-reserve. During the monitoring process, specialists comprehensively assess the preservation condition of archaeological monuments, changes in the natural environment, the impact of anthropogenic factors, and various influences affecting the integrity of the rock art. Based on the collected data, a comprehensive evaluation of the current condition of the heritage sites is conducted.
