Vandalism as a Threat to Cultural Heritage: An Educational Meeting in Kaskelen

On December 15, the State Historical, Cultural and Natural Museum-Reserve “Tamgaly” organized and held educational lectures at the Abai Secondary School-Gymnasium in the city of Kaskelen on the topics “Tamgaly — History Carved in Stone” and “Vandalism: A Threat to Cultural Heritage.”
During the lectures, the types of damage inflicted on historical and cultural heritage sites, the causes of vandalism and its negative impact on society, as well as the legislative regulations for the protection of petroglyphs, were explained in detail.
