Revival of the Samalyk Tradition

As part of the “Nauryznama” decade, dedicated to March 16 — the Day of Culture and National Traditions, one of the ancient ritual traditions of the Kazakh people — the performance of “Samalyk” — was revived.

During the event, participants performed the Samalyk song, which symbolizes spring and renewal, promoting the rich spiritual heritage of the people. Samalyk is a meaningful tradition that conveys wishes of prosperity to the country and abundance to the land, calling people for unity and kindness.
