Kazakhstan was elected to the World Heritage Committee

At the UNESCO General Conference in Paris, France, Kazakhstan was elected to the World Heritage Committee for 2023-2027.
The candidacy of the country was supported by 118 states.
State Adviser of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yerlan Karin noted: «The election of our country to the World Heritage Committee is evidence of international recognition of active work to preserve the unique cultural and natural heritage of Kazakhstan.
The World Heritage Committee, which consists of 21 States, is one of the most important and influential governing bodies of UNESCO and has the exclusive right to include and exclude objects in the World Heritage List»
The State Historical, Cultural and Natural Museum-Reserve «Tanbaly»was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List on July 7, 2004!
