22.03.2023 a holiday — Nauryz was celebrated in Kokbastau. 40 yurts were sewn at the festive event, more than 15 thousand people gathered. 2000 liters of Nauryz kozhe were distributed .
The event was attended by the museum-reserve «Tanbaly» of the Ministry of Culture and sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
National games competitions were held during the event. There were competitions in kazaksha kures, tug of war, hand-to-hand combat, lifting weights, lifting sheep, altybakan, kokpar, baiga.
