Event Dedicated to National Sports Day

As part of the “Nauryznama” decade, the staff of the “Tanbaly” State Historical, Cultural and Natural Museum-Reserve visited a sports complex located in Uzynagash village, Zhambyl district of Almaty region, to observe a master class in Kazakh wrestling in celebration of March 20 — National Sports Day.

Kazakh wrestling is a traditional national sport of our people, representing courage, honor, strength, and endurance. Through this sport, we feel the spirit of our ancestors and strengthen our respect for national heritage.

National Sports Day is an important occasion that elevates national spirit and promotes traditional values. The “Tanbaly” Museum-Reserve will continue to promote national heritage through such meaningful initiatives.
