The **International Spiritual and Cultural Educational Evening** titled **“History on Stone in the Research of Chokan”**.

      On October 9, 2025, at the archaeological site of Tamgaly-Tas, an international spiritual and cultural educational evening titled **“History on Stone in the Research of Chokan Valikhanov”** was held to commemorate the 190th anniversary of the birth of the scholar, orientalist, and educator Chokan Valikhanov.

    As part of the anniversary international spiritual and cultural event, scientific presentations on Chokan Valikhanov’s research, field scientific excursions, and a thematic scholarly discussion titled **“Chokan and the Legacy of Tamgaly-Tas”** were conducted.

     The field-based scientific evening was attended by representatives of UNESCO (Philippe Delanghe), the Consul of India in Almaty Shri Kotawade Swapnil Sharad, staff members of the Gobustan State Historical and Artistic Reserve (Azerbaijan), the Petroglyph Management Center of Karelia (Russia), the National Historical and Archaeological Museum Complex "Sulayman-Too" (Kyrgyzstan), researchers from the Ch. Ch. Valikhanov Institute of History and Ethnology, and others.
