The Tanbaly Museum-Reserve has released a new scientific journal

       The periodical is devoted to the research and museum activities of the Tanbaly State Historical, Cultural, and Natural Museum-Reserve in the study and preservation of rock art monuments of Kazakhstan and Central Asia.

      The first issue of the bulletin contains the materials of the International Scientific and Practical Seminar dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the inclusion of “Petroglyphs of the Archaeological Landscape of Tanbaly” in the UNESCO World Heritage List (2004).

      It also publishes the results of the 2024 field research of the Historical and Archaeological Complex Expedition (with international participation) of the Tanbaly Museum-Reserve, carried out at the archaeological sites in the Almaly and Kogaly valleys of the Almaty Region.

    The section "Museum Studies" includes publications based on the collections of the Tanbaly Museum-Reserve.

    The publication is intended for archaeologists, historians, museum professionals, government officials in the field of cultural heritage protection, as well as a wide audience interested in the cultural history of Kazakhstan.
