“Regel’s Tulip: Children Draw for the Protection of Nature”

On November 24, the State Historical, Cultural, and Natural Museum-Reserve “Tanbaly” organized and held an educational event titled “Regel’s Tulip” at the Center for Children’s and Youth Creativity in the village of Qargaly, Zhambyl District.
During the event, participating children created drawings on the theme of Regel’s tulip and nature, and then presented their artworks in the format of a small photo exhibition. The children’s works reflected the beauty of Regel’s tulip, the delicate charm of nature, and the idea of protecting plant life.
In addition, the event provided information about the biological characteristics of Regel’s tulip—an endemic plant listed in the Red Book of Kazakhstan—its distribution range, its role in the ecosystem, and the scientific research carried out to ensure its conservation.
