The “Tanbaly” Museum-Reserve Took Part in a Republican Scientific and Practical Seminar

The “Tanbaly” State Historical-Cultural and Natural Museum-Reserve took part in a republican scientific and practical seminar entitled “Conservation and Restoration of Ceramic Artefacts in Museum Collections,” held at the “Otyrar” State Archaeological Museum-Reserve.
The seminar addressed modern methods of preserving archaeological heritage, issues related to the conservation and restoration of ceramic artefacts, as well as ways to promote professional cooperation and the exchange of experience among specialists in the field.
As part of the event, Kuanysh Nurmakhmutov, Head of the Research Department of the “Tanbaly” Museum-Reserve, delivered a presentation on ongoing work to preserve and restore the rock art of Tanbaly.
At the conclusion of the seminar, participants visited restoration workshops and exchanged experience in the scientifically grounded preservation and restoration of archaeological artefacts.
