An international round table was held, dedicated to the exchange of experience in managing UNESCO rock art sites

     On October 10, 2025, the *Tanbaly State Historical, Cultural and Natural Museum-Reserve* hosted an **international round table** dedicated to the exchange of experience in managing UNESCO rock art sites.

The event was attended by leading experts in the field of rock art from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, and the Russian Federation.

The agenda included discussions on the preservation and promotion practices of the Tanbaly, Sulayman-Too, Gobustan, and Karelia petroglyphs. Participants exchanged views on achievements in the management of UNESCO sites and the use of modern digital technologies in this field.

A presentation was also given on the topic: **"Conservation Methods of Tanbaly Petroglyphs: Thirty Years of Experience (1990–2023)."**

As part of the meeting, guests visited the *Tanbaly Visitor Center* and its archaeological landscape, and became more familiar with the museum-reserve’s activities.

???? This round table contributed to strengthening international cooperation in the field of rock art preservation and provided an opportunity to share experience and new approaches in the protection of cultural heritage.
