Tanbaly: A New Format Combining Learning and Play

The Tanbaly Museum-Reserve hosted a new-format quest tour for schoolchildren and an open-air museum lesson titled “Tanbaly Talks.”

The main goal of the project is to increase children’s interest in historical and cultural heritage, foster respect for national values, and present the museum space in a modern and interactive format.

As part of the programme, students completed various quest tasks, assembled puzzles, solved riddles, and explored the world of petroglyphs. They also learned about the professions of archaeologist and tour guide and gained insight into the different aspects of museum work.

Through educational games and practical activities, the children did more than simply listen to stories about history — they had the opportunity to explore, experience, and discover it themselves.

The Tanbaly Museum-Reserve is not only a place for preserving historical heritage, but also a modern educational space that introduces younger generations to cultural values through engaging and interactive formats.
