Grand Opening of the “Tanbaly: Code of the Ancestors” Exhibition Held in Astana

On June 4, 2026, the grand opening of the exhibition “Tanbaly: Code of the Ancestors” took place at the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The exhibition was organized by the State Historical, Cultural and Natural Museum-Reserve “Tanbaly”.

During the event, welcome speeches were delivered by Azamat Dzholaev, Head of the Historical and Cultural Heritage Department of the Culture Committee of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan; Akmaral Ibrayeva, Deputy Director for Research of the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan; renowned archaeologist and Doctor of Historical Sciences Zeinolla Samashev; and Viktor Novozhenov, Candidate of Historical Sciences, archaeologist, orientalist, researcher of ancient and modern Eurasian communications, UNESCO expert, and researcher at the Tanbaly Museum-Reserve. The speakers emphasized the project's importance in promoting Kazakhstan’s national heritage.

The exhibition presents the unique cultural heritage of Tanbaly through modern multimedia technologies, artificial intelligence-based installations, and interactive solutions. “Tanbaly: Code of the Ancestors” not only contributes to the preservation of national heritage but also introduces it in innovative formats, creating a meaningful connection between the past and the future.
