Reserve museum «Tanbaly»
As a gift to the museum-reserve "Tangbaly" as part of the "Gift to the Museum" campaign
On March 30, responsible specialists of the Almaty Regional Center for the Protection of Historical and Cultural Heritage visited the Tanbaly Tourist Center and handed over to the museum ancient artifacts found during archaeological excavations near the villages of Samsy and Targap during the overhaul of the Almaty-Bishkek highway. . Historical artifacts from different periods, such as pottery, bowls, arrows, bone seals, bronze earrings, fragments, iron knives, silver rings, round pens, beads, jugs, replenished the reserve fund of the museum.
Volunteer Erik Sarsenbekov also donated a Bronze Age cauldron, accidentally found in the foothills of the village of Zhambyl, Zhambyl district, Almaty region, to the Tanbaly Museum-Reserve as part of the “Gift to the Museum” campaign.
