“The Revival of Night Rock Art” Cultural and Educational Event Held as Part of Museum Night

As part of the Museum Night campaign, the Tanbaly State Historical, Cultural and Natural Museum-Reserve organized a cultural and educational event entitled “The Revival of Night Rock Art.”
During the event, visitors explored the historical and cultural heritage of the Tanbaly Gorge beneath the starry sky and embarked on a journey into the history of ancient rock art through theatrical performances.
The evening program featured:
- ethno-musical performances;
- theatrical presentations;
- illuminated displays of the petroglyphs;
- an educational session titled “The Sky of the Nomads”;
- traditional storytelling around a campfire.
Guests learned about the historical, spiritual, and cultural significance of the Tanbaly petroglyphs and gained insight into the worldview of ancient nomads and their understanding of the night sky.
The event was organized to promote the historical and cultural heritage of Tanbaly, preserve and celebrate national values, and provide visitors with a unique and memorable cultural experience.
