The spiritual values ​​and cultural heritage of the Turkic peoples were discussed at the Tanbaly reserve-museum

        The international conference “Spiritual values ​​and cultural heritage of the Turkic peoples” is being held at the State Historical, Cultural and Natural Reserve-Museum of Tanbaly.

       The event is attended by representatives of Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey, Uzbekistan and other countries of the Turkic world.

      During the conference, the first meeting of the Advisory Council of Restorers and Historian-Architects, created under the auspices of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation, took place. The experts discussed the prospects for cooperation in the study and restoration of the Turkic archaeological heritage.

    “At the third meeting of the National Kurultai, the Head of State especially emphasized the importance of preserving and promoting the historical and cultural heritage of the country at the world level. Our task is to work within the framework of improving the law “On the protection and use of historical and cultural heritage objects,” said the chairman of the culture committee of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kumis Seitova.

      During the event, a scientific and restoration laboratory for rock paintings was opened at the visitor center of the Tanbaly Museum-Reserve, which will provide a significant contribution to the preservation of petroglyphs.

      Participants will also visit the State Historical and Cultural Reserve-Museum “Issyk” and the ancient settlement “Kulan”, where they will conduct

historical excursions.

       It should be noted that the conference is dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the inclusion of Tanbaly monuments in the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List.
