Round Table Discusses the Protection of Rock Art Monuments in Zhambyl District

On May 29, 2026, a round table was held at the District Library to discuss the identification, scientific research, documentation, and state protection of rock art monuments located within the territory of Zhambyl District.

During the event, participants discussed current issues related to the preservation, protection, and promotion of historical and cultural heritage sites. Special attention was given to the significance of archaeological monuments and effective approaches to safeguarding them for future generations.

The round table was attended by N. E. Ashekeyeva, Head of the Zhambyl District Department of Culture, Language Development, Physical Culture and Sports, as well as specialists, museum professionals, researchers, and library representatives. Participants exchanged views on the preservation of the region’s historical heritage.
